The story brings you the tale of a once mortal anti-hero named Pooh, given the nickname the Mad Imp, an over 300-year-old physically preteen foppish femboy with a taste for power, pain, and wickedness. As a made demidemon, he's gifted with the abilities to traverse time and space, shapeshift, and manipulate many species - gifts he uses to despoil the minds of those he considers pawns in his cosmic war against the unholy god he fully intends to replace. From Ancient Rome, Nazi-Occupied Europe, the Wild West, the Antebellum South, and beyond, the puckish Pooh gathers his minions and allies for an outright rebellion against the supernatural world of The Isle and its evil overseer Candyman, while having a lot of wayward adventures along the way.
Pooh needs lots of agents called Ghost Boys – the souls of corrupted and killed young boys. One can’t very well battle the Candyman without them. So begins his quest through time to gather the forces the immortal imp will need for the coming rebellion. Corruption is the hitch though: Pooh must first find a way to taint their souls and then kill those boys in order for them to be banished to Candyman's realm.
Not just any boy gets banished to The Isle after death. That requires a boy to have been involved in some very delinquent behaviors even when said behaviors were out of their control.

Take a trip with reimagined boy characters from literature. We've taken characters from literature, while inventing many of our own, and dropped them right into the Pooh Universe. However, this isn't dark fantasy, it's boy adventures suitable for teens. In Adventure Boys, you'll be seeing characters like Sherlock Holmes, Peter Pan, Korak the Son of Tarzan, Billy the Kid, Puck, Oliver Twist, Romeo, Dracula, Doc Savage, Dorian Gray, the Hardy Boys, Galahad, Mowgli, Dondi, Kid Eternity, Little Nemo, Terry and the Pirates, Dr. Moreau, and Huckleberry Finn.
Many issues will see crossovers with the Pooh series' time traveling ghost boys, as well as even more boys from great fiction. The demidemon imp Pooh will even be making appearances.
These adventures and the characters are going to be more inclusive in order that all boys can see themselves in these pages as heroes. Historically, most the boy characters in American and English literature have tended to be of Western descent and not very diverse in their skin color, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity. In these pages, we’re going to correct that, so that all boys or those who identify as boys will have a home here.
